Soccer Shots takes a winning shot at character development

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Soccer Shots uses weekly 30-35-minute sessions, best-in-classes coaches, age-appropriate curriculum and ongoing communication with families to deliver a premier soccer experience. Soccer Shots offers two different programs to meet the developmental needs of children aged 2-5.
MINI (Ages 2-3): The Mini program offers an introduction to soccer and movement, with an emphasis on balance, coordination and confidence. Repetition, high energy and celebrating achievements are key components of this program.
CLASSIC (Ages 3-5): The focus of the Classic program is to individually become skilled at possessing the soccer ball. Through creativity, positivity, and fun, challenges and increased confidence are encouraged.
Soccer Shots was named the official two to five-year-old soccer program of US Youth Soccer in September 2017.

New kits for the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team

The USA will compete in France wearing a new collection and a set of kits that channel the energy of  the 1999 team and all its championship glory. For the all-white home kit, the shirt features a stripped sleeve cuff reminiscent of those worn by Brandi Chastain, Mia Hamm and Julie Foudy, and is punctuated by three stars above the crest — honoring the USA’s world titles from ’91, ’99 and 2015. This theme follows on the shorts, where the single star adorning the sides of the ’99er uniform has been replaced by a stack of three. Knit tape on the back of the neck also displays this embellishment.

What do you think of the new look?

OK, now you’ve read what’s on my mind…what are your thoughts on the above or any other “football” happenings?
