1. National League Girls season takes off in N.C. (Soccer Wire)
This is the 12th season of US Youth Soccer National League Girls.
It’s no easy feat to make it to the National League. To become a National League team, you have to be one of the best teams in the nation obviously, and your record has to reflect that. With such a rigorous standard, each and every game counts.
There are five age groups for the national team matches, U-14 through U-19. All of their matches for the 2018 to 2019 season kicked off in Wilson, N.C., and Rocky Mount, N.C.
This is also a great opportunity for college coaches to scout and analyze the next generation of talent, and there will be plenty of them on hand.
“More than 225 college coaches lined the sidelines on Thursday and many more are expected to attend this National League weekend to scout some of the top teams and players in the country”
It great to see youth soccer constantly produce such a high level of talent and provide opportunities for the next generation of star players.
